5 Amazon Black Friday Tool Deals

The holiday season is finally upon us. That also means that there are a lot of good deals going on, but if you are like me, you probably don't want to be a part of holiday shopping crowd. All I want to do is relax, enjoy the holiday weekend, and eat a lot. Luckily, it's the 21st century and we can do all of our shopping online, while still finding the great deals we are looking for.

I've been spending some time on Amazon trying to hunt down some nice tools for the garage, and I think I found some good stuff. Everything listed is highly recommended by me and will definitely make any gearhead happy.

Neiko 1/2” Drive Deep Impact Socket Set

These sockets look awesome! They are metric only sockets, so you don't have to reserve space for SAE sockets if you working on foreign cars. They also do not skip any sizes! It goes from 10-24mm without skipping 15mm, 16mm, and 18mm like some other sets like to do. Large size markings on the socket make them easy to identify, and the 6-point design keeps them long lasting with their large contact area. With their high customer satisfaction, they really live up to the hype.

DeWALT 10-Amp Reciprocating Saw

I needed to buy a reciprocating saw immediately once, and this was my first choice. Although I ended up getting the Milwaukee 12-Amp reciprocating saw instead because that was the closest thing the hardware store had at the time. Even though this is a 10-Amp saw versus the 12-Amp Milwaukee version, the DeWALT has an awesome feature. It has a 4 position blade system, so you can attach the saw blades horizontally as well. This allows you to hold the saw much more steadily with all of the recoil when cutting horizontally. The price is also extremely competitive, as well as having very high ratings.

I recommend these Makita metal cutting blades to go with it: Makita Reciprocating Saw Blades

EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump - Blue

This little pump is a fantastic value for the price. I've had a lot of bad luck with 12v pumps in the past from the hardware store. This one isn't just reliable but very fast as well! It can handle a wide range of applications with its 100PSI output. I like keeping a portable air pump in the race car at all times. You never know when you might need to reset a bead or keep running on a leaky tire!

DeWALT 10 Piece Metric Combination Wrench Set

I cannot stress this enough - these are probably the best set of wrenches you will find for this price. I have two sets of them, and they are probably my favorite set of tools out of all that I own. These used to be sold at Sears for about $80, but I bought my first set on sale there for $50. I thought that was the best $50 I have ever spent, until I bought them again on Amazon for about $30. These aren't normal length wrenches; they are very long, and will be your go-to for alignments and suspension work. No more breaker bar and sockets for me, I grab these first. I hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings when I say this, but these rival Snap-on. They resemble the Snap-on wrenches so well, you will wonder why anyone would spend the money on Snap-on's set. Also, this set does not skip any sizes, it's a complete set of wrenches from 10-19mm.

Neiko Titanium Step Drill Bit Set

I have three of Neiko's step drill bits, and they are amazing! It's unbelievable how good they are for the price. After 1 year of use, they are still going strong! This set includes a huge 1-3/8" bit which is really nice to have when you don't want to stock all of the drill bit sizes after 1/2" or all of the hole saws in between. These bits have proven to become an essential tool in my garage for all kinds of repairs and fabrication work. With all of the positive reviews, you can't go wrong.
