Protect your stock axles with this easy to install steering limiter. Reduces steering input by 90 degrees each way to prevent outer CV joint binding. Under high throttle, these axles are known to break with too much steering angle. This limiter will give you piece of mind and lets you focus on your driving instead of your axles. Essential for Fiestas in all motorsport disciplines, especially rallycross and stage rally.
Precision machined out of lightweight 6061 aluminum.
Includes 2 steering limiters, one for each side of the steering rack.
Installation instructions
- Remove the wheel.
- Pull back the steering rack boot.
- You will find the stock plastic steering limiter, which needs to be removed. If you would like to preserve the stock steering limiter, the inner tie rod end needs to be removed, and then the stock steering limiter can be removed without breaking it off. Or you can break off the stock plastic steering limiter by inserting a large flat head screwdriver into its seam and twisting, this method only requires the boot to be pulled back.

- Reinstall the inner tie rod end if removed in the previous step.
- Make sure the area where the stock steering limiter was located is clean and free of debris.
- Lube the inner diameter of the steering limiter with grease.
- Attach our steering limiter on the steering rack with the chamfered side facing the center of the car. The steering limiter needs to be butted up against the inner tie rod end, just like the stock one.

- Tighten the two screws evenly, such that the gap between the two sides of the limiter do not differ significantly. Do not over tighten. You should not be able to rotate the steering limiter by hand when installed.
- Reattach the steering rack boot and wheel.
- Repeat on the other side.
