Recessed Slot Skid Plate Mount Kit - Aluminum

Mount your aluminum skid plate using these convenient slot mounts. No more struggling with lining up hardware - just loosen the bolts and slide the skid plate off. These mounts make attaching the skid plate alone simple. The length of the slot can also be used to help adjust for misalignment over the life of the vehicle. The mount features a recess so you can mount your skid plate without worrying about your bolt heads wearing down and catching on rocks. Designed and tested for motorsports, specifically stage rally, these mounts are also perfect for all types of off-roading and general underbody protection.

To install, you can cut two 1.25" holes with a hole saw, connect the cuts with a jigsaw to make a slot, and then weld the mount over the slot. A template is included with the kit.

When welded onto a 3/16" thick plate, most bolt heads will sit flush with the surface of the skid plate. Thicker plates can also be used, which will create an even deeper recess.

These mounts are intended for use with M10 or 3/8" hex bolt heads featuring either a flange head or a washer. The recess provides 24.9mm of socket clearance, offering easy access for most impact sockets.

Precision machined out of lightweight 6061 aluminum.

Total recess depth: Recess depth + your skid plate thickness. That's 9mm for 3/16" skid plates, and 10.6mm for 1/4" skid plates.
